If a party (party meaning entity or group of entities, not a political party) does any of the actions that follow, they shall be held in Contempt of Congress and penalized appropriately:
- - Making arguments or saying things that aren’t proposals or clarification in #house-proposals or #senate-votes. If this happens, the offending party may have their illegal message(s) removed. If they continue to do this after being warned not to, they can temporarily lose the ability to speak in that channel for a maximum of one day.
- - If a party attempts to bribe a member of Congress to vote a certain way or propose a certain bill, they shall be fined and/or imprisoned for some time.
- - If a member of Congress accepts a bribe from any party, they shall be fined and/or imprisoned for some time.
- - If a party is summoned to Congress to testify and refuses to show up or testify, they shall be fined.
The extent of these penalties will be decided by whatever body (the Supreme Court, at the time of proposal) is tasked with determining guilt.
