This bill aims to alter the current incorporation of Companies in the Mock Universe so that they are less clutter-some, and to remove the government from being the sole arbitrator of the legitimacy of companies.
- All companies shall be consolidated into an #companies chat,
- Pre-existing owners of these trademarks and companies are to create a separate discord server for all companies and migrate operations on said server within 4 years
- Trademarks and organizations shall be separate, this includes reaming #create-a-company to #file-trademarks. Violation of the trademarks will result in a fine determined by the perpetrator's district court. Refusal to pay the fine issued by the courts is an obstruction of justice and will lead to 3x the initial amount being withdrawn from the account and in the case of insufficient funds all of the balance shall be withdrawn. Banks accounts and property may also be used as collateral.
- Whenever there is a conflict in who owns a trademark, a party to that dispute may file a petition with their district court to grant their trademark, allowing the opposing party to also present their arguments, even if they aren't in that district court. The court, in its ruling, must consider whose use of the trademark is more well known (if used by either party yet), who filed the trademark first, and any other arguments from the parties.
- These changes shall apply to all the states as well, and any of their company systems, if they exist.
- This legislation is to be active 2 years after ratification.
